I can’t imagine taking on my first 70.3 without the training plan Brandon created for me.  Unlike out-of-the-box plans sold on many sites, Brandon was able to create a personalized plan that worked with my schedule – even coming up with creative solutions like biking to work and running during lunch to get in the training I needed.  Also, Brandon took into account my current fitness level and my past race performance to create a plan that was realistic, yet still challenging. My training plan kept me focused and gave me the confidence to know that I was prepared and ready for the race.

The race went perfect as far as my goals were concerned. I felt that I accomplished a good job getting my teammates through the race. I was able to tow a teammate on the bike from elevation of the lake all the way up to North Star (so, ~1900ft+ elevation or so) and we were passing people!!!! It was so awesome! You’ve definitely turned me into a machine. I really didn’t feel tired at all during the race – only afterwords.

Gwen and I often laugh about the idea of taking up ballroom dancing.  Our goal, even for the wedding, was to do an overhead press and transition to one arm.  Despite Gwen’s petite size, I did not have the strength to do it.  The other day, we were in the pool and I asked her to go for it.  To my surprise, I was actually able to press her and lockout the arms. …the Brandon workouts are working!
